» Give all your town’s nonprofits a single site to list their volunteer needs and opportunities.

How it works

Organizations list their needs, whether for people to help at an event or volunteers to fill specific roles. Site visitors, meanwhile, can search for events and roles by keyword or interest or organization. Then they just click “Connect,” and send the nonprofit an email, (or call or DM), as a nonprofit’s contact info is linked to each opportunity.

Why it works

YourTownVolunteers keeps it local. Your site’s domain name is based on your community’s name, e.g. [YourTown]Volunteers.org, which instantly tells the local community THIS SITE IS FOR THEM. And it’s overseen locally, by people who know the community best.

BranfordVolunteers.org, a site Antonym Partners built for the Branford Community Foundation (BCF) in late 2024, is a testament to how powerful this approach can be.

Within a few months of launch, HUNDREDS OF LOCAL VOLUNTEERS CONNECTED with the area nonprofits and government agencies that list and update their specific needs.

“Our Foundation’s mission is to connect people who care with causes that matter, and BranfordVolunteers.org has allowed us to do that in a way we didn’t know was possible,” says BCF Executive Director Liza Janssen-Petra. “This is such a great platform to bring our nonprofits and our community together.”

After its success in Branford, Antonym Partners decided to make the platform available to any town, and at a fraction of the cost of building your own.

Security

YourTownVolunteers is inherently secure because there’s next-to-nothing to steal.

  • The site DOES NOT register visitors or collect ANY of their personal information. Instead, the site acts as a conduit, allowing visitors to contact nonprofits directly, eliminating issues around visitor privacy and security.
  • There are NO PASSWORDS to be hacked as the site uses a Magic Link login system.

Get started

Antonym Partners works with you to secure a localized domain, and once that’s done, you give us contact info for your admin(s), and the site will be ready to populate with your nonprofits and your graphics and information. We show you how to administer and moderate the site, which we’ve quite purposely kept user-friendly.

What’s included?

YourTownVolunteers requires just a one-time fee; we don’t demand annual licensing payments. Nonprofits can’t afford that, and shouldn’t have to. We do charge a monthly hosting & maintenance fee, which includes security updates and bug fixes performed by Antonym.

The platform comes with an Admin Guide for your organization, and a comprehensive User Guide that shows your nonprofits how to log in to the site and list their opportunities. The User Guide can be distributed to each nonprofit via email, and is also available online to any logged in User.

Add-on packages

For an additional fee, Antonym Partners can help market your site, from graphics to copywriting to social media.

We write site copy and press releases, and coordinate media coverage.

We can create logos and unique imagery for your site.

We can create and implement a social media campaign that makes your volunteer site instantly recognizable.

We find unorthodox approaches that build recognition. For example, we even got the Town of Branford to install permanent metal street signs throughout town so that everyone in the community would always know where to look if they want to give back.

YourTownVolunteers brings your community and nonprofits together as never before. If you’d like to know more, please drop us a line. And no, we don’t share or sell your information. It’s just between us.
